Georgia O'Keeffe really inspired me to look at things a different way, by enlarging certain aspects of the drawing. What I liked most about my projects were that they focused on a certain area of the piece which made you take a closer look at what you are missing on a daily basis. The best part of creating work similar to Georgia O'Keeffe is that you feel as if you are painting in her image. The worst part about it was that I could not draw as well as I thought, but I still created a masterpiece. I liked using paint most of all because I felt like all those renaissance artists who paved the way for artists like me. I learned that every piece does not have to be big a pretty, it can be dark and have a negative connotation which represents the artists vision and creativity.

Geogia O'Keeffe had inspired me to look into my flower and just bring more colors into my drawing I learned that a flower can tell you a story it wouldn't matter if you didn't have so many colors or what ever you put on you paper see it's like you can breath in and let it all out on paper just take time out to do it don't try to rush just do it.Ms.O'Keeffe has me to think what would think if we didn't have are to express your feelings

  3. This project really showed me how I could view artwork differently. That a picture or drawing can have multiple meanings and being able to use paint or tissue showed the different textures you could pull out of the artwork.

Georgia O'Keeffee is a very good painter. There are many ways that you can look at the flower and shell. I like how we had to examine and draw the two items. The best part was painting. The worst part was drawing it and making them bigger. The medium I liked was painting but I do like using tissue. I learned that u have to try new things and take your time

  5. This project that we did over Georgia O'Keefee was okay i guess a little challenging. At first it was kind of cool to do but then it got a little boring just focusing on flowers. The thing i think i did the best on was the painting and color. The part that i did worse on was everything else. Overall i did somewhat like the experience. But everything was still all the same same flowers same colors.

Although I'm not good at painting or drawing, this project shows different aspects of objects. One person sees it as something else than another person. The worst part about the project was that it was difficult trying to make it bigger. The best part was the color way I used to make my flower look unique

  7. Alysha Young- 3rd Period Working with Georgia O'Keeffe gave me an experience to peek inside of her world and style of art. What I liked about the project was the composition, variety and styles of her flowers and seashells. The best part about the project was being able to express myself and my ideas. The worst part about the project is that my drawing was not as neat and nice as it could've been but it was decent. The medium I liked creating the most was the paint it added life to the drawing and outlining with the color penicl gave me a chance to bring out the details and truly make the artwork stand out. From this assignment I learned the value of artwork and how to take a deeper closer look into the artwork.

Georgia O'Keeffe is an interesting and astonishing artist. I enjoyed drawing similar images as Georgia O'Keeffe although they didn't come out as great as hers, I got the hang of it. what I have learned from this particular assignment is how to bring out the beauty in a drawing and what colors to use to achieve this task.

Georgia O'Keeffee inspired me to change my way of drawing my art work(think outside the box).I like that we painted a shell and flower. The best part was painting. The worst part was drawing the flower, I suck at drawing flowers. The medium I like was using a pencil ,because you can shade in different area on your art work to add value. I learned how to be creative with my art work.

  10. What I learned from working on this kinds of projects is that even to when you make an object big you have to be more detailed and have more colors to make it pop out. What I like about this project was that we had the chance to use different kind of things to color in the flowers and the shells. What I didn't like is that I didn't have the ability to draw as good as her.

The best part about working with Georgia O'Keeffe projects was that we had an opportunity to paint how she did. I learned how to contrast a picture with its background and mostly that outlining something creates a difference. Afterall, having to paint and draw like her was fun.

Working with Georgia O'keeffe was an interesting thing to do since I learned that you can use objects and find it interesting to draw or paint it from a different perspective like Georgia did. Drawing and painting my flower was the best part , creating an interesting painting combining different colors to create different shades was cool to work with .I liked working with paintingmore since its fun painting and creating new colors and making the painting with different parts of elements.

  16. Working on the Georgia O'Keeffe projects have been very interesting. The thing I liked the most was creating something with great detail and emphasis. Taking up the entire space of the paper, leaving little to none let over negative space, made things kind of hard but it ended up being pretty. The worst part of doing these assignments was trying to pick nice colors, every color isn't cute when a lot of it is used. I learned from the assignment to not be afraid to draw something abstract like a shell or a flower. It might turn out better than expected.

What I liked about the Georgia O'Keeffe projects was that those were very interesting works. The best part was that I worked with the things that she did (like is drawing a flower and the shell). The worst part was that it took me so much time and I didn't worked as she really did. I liked to work with the tissue. I learned that I should work better with that and I also learned new techniques to draw and to be creative.

O'Keeffe has really taught me what art can be, not just from your imagination, but from the feeling you get from a specific thing and make it the most important thing in the world. The best part was creating the flower, it brought out a sense of beauty and wonder when we had to do a close up. The shell brought a challenge to get it in a 3-D and paint the whole page to connect the shell with the background. The worst page was trying to find the right colors to paint or tissue with, it took time and i had to improvise on some colors. Through out the projects it has been an amazing sight to see art and to draw art in someone else's eyes.

Georgia O'Keeffe was an very inspirational painter who well known for the enlargement of its painting. She used many elements that characterized her insight on her work that shows how different and unique her painting became which immediately became recognizable. I love everything about her work it told story from the way she styled her work ; the best part about Georgia work was getting to make my own creation of similarity from hers and which was very techniqued. I don't disagree with any of her work for me theirs nothing worst that came from her painting it was her work that sometimes gave meanings for you to understand her work of art. Creating the flower was such difficult just because its meant to be enlarged so you had to take half of what you made in turn it into something bigger it took me longer than I expected only cause I wanted to take my time and be very technique with it. From the work I learned that just because it might seem different its not all that hard until you are willing to try in expand your best work forward for what you try to create. Overall I enjoyed working over her I hope to see more of work over time.

From all of the Georgia O'Keeffe paintings ; they all have something in common.
They all Meant something to the artist, they all where inspiring, they all had something to do with art work. The flower had its own creativity and uniqueness, with the way the colors where arranged and the shell was plain but the complementary lines played a big part in it, my overall look on there paintings they where very charismatic, beautiful, and different , l didn't learn much about the paintings but I did understand that everything isn't the same but everything has its own meaning!

What i liked about my two projects was the way we had to draw it in the final draft. By drawing the flower up close and from drawing the shell the way we wanted. I also liked the way my final painting came out. The best part in both projects was painting them and using tissue because i saw how my drawing was coming together. There wasn't really a worst part in my opinion. The medium i enjoyed using the most was paint because by mixing different colors you ended up with more choices and i also liked using tissue paper because it looked natural.

I enjoyed creating something exciting with magazine pieces. This was a collage and it's something I've never worked with before, prior to building a sculpture, painting, drawing, and dealing with charcoal.
I feel like the best part about doing this piece was coming to a conclusion with it. Also, putting all of the little magazine pieces together and seeing it create the picture that I wanted.
The worst part about this project was cutting out the magazine pieces . They kept on getting everywhere whenever I needed them the most . Also, the glue wasn't sticky enough so the little pieces kept on falling off of my final art work .
The medium I enjoyed using was the little pieces of paper.. When pieced together they make a complete picture that's also comes off as abstract artwork .
I learned to take my time and have patience when working with art . Not everything will turn out as you'd like it to, even when that happens you must still take responsibility for your work because you created it. Hey, who knows.. Someone might actually still enjoy it.

Georgia O'Keeffe is an interesting artist. I liked trying to mimic similar paintings as Georgia O'Keeffe even though im not as talented as her, I tried to make my artwork look as much like hers as I could. I liked both of the Georgia O'Keeffe projects and learned that the artist used up a lot of space in most of her artwork to show detail of a certain object. The best thing that I liked about creating my artwork is that I tried to make it look more like O'Keeffe's work by using bright colors and close up detail on an object. To me there really wasn't a downside to both of the projects. I guess choosing the right color to make the flower or shell more vibrant might have been a challenge. The medium that I used was the paint because I felt that I was more familiar with it and that I could get a larger variety of colors by mixing paints together. What I learned from the project is that when making art a plane object can be turned into a masterpiece if you give it enough detail and colors.

What I liked about Georgia O'keeffe Project is that I was challenging myself to do something different. I somewhat liked how we picked a part in the poem and illustrated it into something representing it. The best part in the project was doing the blood on his face and sledgehammer to show that death was about. The worst of all about the project was the measurement, trying to get everything in the right place or doing the shirt and having value on it. That was very hard for me and I'm learning, still. I like my mechanical pencil because it have the right point, and use a number two pencil to shade and use value. What I learner from this assignment was to never go overboard, and always stick to what 'You' want and nobody else.

Throughout the past weeks, our projects in class have mostly been oriented in Georgia O'Keeffe's style. Our first project was to create an abstract art work of a flower we had previously sketched; the next one was to create a shell. I really enjoyed the projects, from choicing the biggest papers as a canvas (I took over the table with that paper hehe), to applying different mediums (paint and oil pastels). In reality, I wasn't proud of my projects, but I have learned new skills from these projects. Withbthese mistakes, I will now have a better understanding of paint value and oil pastels.

When completing this project, i learned that even the most simplest objects in life can become one of the most wonderful pieces of artwork created. O'Keeffe was a talented artist who wanted to reveal the beauty of flowers to people who just simply passed them by without truly indulging in their beauty. I really enjoyed creating my artwork out of tissue paper and paint, because it created a unique/unusual way of bringing out the true beauty of the flower, and it will bring curiosity to the viewer, spark their brain to really think about the art, but the difficult thing was getting the tissue paper to the exact proportion needed. In the long run the art work turned out extraordinary, and overall this was an engaging project to indulge in. O'Keeffe had a unique way of portraying her views, and creating artwork based off of the way that she viewed them was just wonderful.

What I like about the projects are discovering who the artist really it is and the type of artwork the artist draws. The best part about the projects were brainstorming how to draw the artwork and the worst part was really drawing and coloring it. What I learned from these assignments were that all artwork has a definition to it. It can be about anything. Also art takes time and focus, not just minutes, but hours or even days to process. I enjoyed doing these projects!

Georgia O'Keeffe's artwork really inspried me to perceive art in a different way . It opened my eyes and made art work that i look at clear in meaning to me .
What I liked best about my project was the idea behind it . I feel like my idea had great meaning .
I would have to say that the meaning behind it was the best part .
The worst part was the final product .
I learned that every piece of art has an actual meaning behind it . There is a story for every piece of artwork out there . If you know the story , it helps you perceive the art work in a different way and it becomes clear .

  31. O'Keeffe's artwork showed me that providing a closer look at things could look a lot better than looking from far away. I enjoyed creating her style of painting. I enjoyed taking the right part to enlarge and making that piece look good as well as using the paint for the piece. as much as I like the idea of this enlargement technique, I kind of dislike not painting the original full piece instead of painting an enlarged portion of the original. I learned that using your imagination creating your artwork is an excellent way to challenge yourself to discover what you can really do when it comes to art. 1st period

After looking at a lot of Georgia O'Keefe's work it inspired me to delve a bit deeper into the world of art.It showed me that art has more than one meaning and many different ways of expressing that meaning.I realized that my art is fairly lacking in both passion and skill after seeing it and it kind of felt like I could have done better.I liked the fact that when I was broached with the question of , "what do we do with a difference (variation)" I could relate to the poem and find some common ground in.What I didn't like was the fact that it took so long to actually solidify my idea and actually put it on paper. That was the hardest and worst part but other than that I would say that the project was pretty cool. The medium I liked working with the most was the pencil mostly because I like the way that when you look at a black and white drawing (not in my projects case) you can plainly see how intricate the artists work is.Finally I pretty much learned that it takes more than wanting to draw a cool picture to be an artist. It takes an idea, patience, passion, focus, and just a little bit of TALENT & Skill tl bring your art to life.

for the past few weeks doing the Georgia O'Keeffe's it make felt really good drawing again from such a long time. I really like looking at her work and sketching out my own flower and shell, but mostly transferring those sketches onto a bigger piece of paper; making it more beautiful with color and value making it beautiful. The thing I hated most was fingering out what or how to draw it a very long process for me and it consumes a lot of time :makes me frustrated most times. 62. Geogia O'Keeffe had inspired me to in-large all my art works she was a ladies who starting drawing all arts up close just like glasses would make you see ten times way more better it just like zooming in to see way more better into the picture

  63. I liked the light colors I was able to use on my flower project and the tile I was able to use on my shell project, that was very new and unique to me. The best part of the Georgia O'Keeffe project was the shell painting although I hated the color coming off the tile. the medium I like working with the most was honestly the tile. I learned that quality work takes time and space from the project.

I liked the creativity about my projects and the effort that I put into them. The best part about the George O'Keefe projects were that I got to expand my artistic skills to a whole new level. The worst part is the amount of time it took me to complete the different projects. There was really a lot of concentration and patience needed to finish these projects with a decent outcome. I liked the 3D pop up art the most because it was an art very opposite of what I've ever done in my life. I learned that art takes a lot of time and patience to conquer the best kind of work possible.

  66. My name is Tiara Williams, and I am from art one third period. I liked many things about the project, but mainly what I liked was being able to view something as simple as a flower into a larger view to admire it's beauty, which was the best part. The worst part was having to redraw, and show all the detail, which took a pretty long time. I chose a lot of different mediums, but the best was tissue it made the picture look very distinct. I learned to look at something simple, but is with much more value. Don't miss the beautiful things in life mistaking it for something simple when the closer you the the more beautiful it really is.

What i liked alot about the George O'Keefe project we did was the creative process in general. The best part aboit my project is the color selection and the worst is the drawing. I liked drawing actual flower, even though i dislike my drawing ability.

I really enjoyed doing the Georgia O'Keeffe art projects. Out of the two I would have to say that I like doing the flower more. The flower was more challenging than the shell was, maybe because you had to do more. I choose to work with the tissue paper because it looked better overall than the paint did. It gave the paper more of a texture. With this project I learned how to work with tissue paper, it's less messy and looks better.

    - I liked that I got the chance to see how it feels to create art work from Georgia O'Keeffe's perspective. Out of all the things we've done I liked drawing the shell, because it was the easiest part. The part I liked the least was painting, because it made my masterpiece look kind of sloppy. I only used paint but I think I would have really liked using tissue paper. I learned that using tissue paper can make your art work pop and look really cool unlike the paint I used.

Lately working on my art projects with the influence of Georgia O'Keeffe's artwork has another art enriching a creative experience. The most that I liked about my project was I actually finished it and that I also got the chance to present it. I would say that the best part of doing this project was that we got to use the works of Georgia O'Keeffe's as a source of an artistic foundation. I would say that the worst part of the project was the actual process and getting my artwork done within the time frame. I never had a specific medium that I liked creating with the most. From this assignment, I learned about Georgia O'Keeffe and viewed some of her artwork.

O’Keeffe was a devout modernist who pooh-poohed literary or Freudian interpretations of her art. She drew no line between abstract and representational art, seeing both in terms of shape, line and form. This show tries to crack that tough façade a bit, to expose O’Keeffe’s attachments to Southwestern land and culture. To that end, it includes a little-known group of about a dozen paintings of katsina dolls – small, colorful figures that represent Hopi spirit beings. Several of the real ones are on view in glass cases.

The concept artwork was amazing, the idea was something that allowed for a lot of creative ideas. The best part of my project or me was the thought process and the execution of the ideas were my favorite parts as, they let me learn new things (like how much I enjoy drawing plants).the creation of the forest while enjoyable was a bit rushed and ultimately lead to me being enable to finish the picture proper. Per usual I used pencil and coloring pencils as my medium, however most of the picture did to some extent did have lead shaded on to it. I learned to analyze and seek different meanings in what ever I see.

Working on the Georgia O'Keeffe projects have been very interesting. The thing I liked the most was creating something with great detail and emphasis. Taking up the entire space of the paper, leaving little to none let over negative space, made things kind of hard but it ended up being pretty. The worst part of doing these assignments was trying to pick nice colors, every color isn't nice when a lot of it is used. I learned from the assignment to not be scared to draw something abstract like a shell or a flower. It might turn out better than expected.

  75. When working with the Georgia O'keeffee projects you were basically challenged in a way to bring out your inner creativity. It was pretty hard to leave zero space blank specially when you're running out of ideas but nothing thing less it turned onto be pretty well done. I enjoyed working withe different colored paints because it brings out more enthusiasm to do the project. A simple close up of a flower can give you the big picture still just by choosing all these colors that make it look just as beautiful.

  76. I really enjoyed working on the Georgia O’Keeffe project. I mostly liked adding on the color and bringing the drawing to life. In the process though, it was challenging to try and use the chalk pastels to color in the small things and keep the detail. In all, I personally think the best part about it was the colors and how they would blend into each other in every flower. On the other hand, I think the worst part was the lack of definition and the color I used for the background. At the end, I still learned that there is beauty in even the simplest things just like in a simple flower
