NIPSEY HUSSLE MURAL VANDALISM
Upon the death of artist Nipsey Hussle a mural was created in his honor.
Recently, the mural was vandalized.
What are your feelings concerning the vandalism?
Is it wrong or is it the nature of graffiti art?
I believe it’s wrong because the mural was made in the honor of someone deer to the people and for them to just put graffiti art over it is disrespectful. I think street art itself is fine but they also need to know what is okay and where it’s okay to do it.
ReplyDeletei truly believe it is wrong because the mural was made to honor someone who a lot of people have much love and respect for, i think talent and time that people spent on the mural show be respected not disrespect because it might make them feel like they have failed him .
ReplyDeleteEven though I didn't no the artist until his death, I still believe the vandalism towards his mural was very disrespectful. It reminds me of another very popular artist that was also gunned down the year before Nipsey's death named XXXTENTACION where to as someone also vandalized his mural because of the negativity around his name at the time and to see the graffiti on the mural hurt millions. So, I do believe that these to incidence of graffiti are wrong.
